UNAFOLD and 64 bit Windows

Hi

As far as I can tell, hybrid-ss-min.EXE and presumably other components in the UNAFOLD executable download (version 3.8) do not run directly with 64 bit Windows 7 (although it works with the 32 bit version and previous Windows OSs).

As the program is only provided as an executable (without an easy option to recompile it) what would I need to do to run it on my machine?

Any advice gratefully received.

This is an update to the

This is an update to the previous post and a partial solution.

The reason that hybrid-ss-min.EXE and other components don't run on my Window 64 bit installation is that it accesses files such as STACK.dG in the UNAFOLD/SHARE/UNAFOLD/ sub-directory that it can't find.

The reason for this seems to be that the program location for UNAFOLD is hard-coded into the actual program to be in C:\PROGRAM FILES\UNAFOLD. On my 64 bit machine, the actual installation directory was C:\PROGRAM FILES (x86)\UNAFOLD\ , a different location set up on the computer for a subset of older programs.

If I copy the whole directory over to C:\PROGRAM FILES\UNAFOLD\ it works fine.

If this is the explanation, is there any scope for perhaps modifying the installer program so that it updates the registry on installation of UNAFOLD. This would allow alternative program locations to be used and make the actual UNAFOLD program components more robust?
